What is life with Christ?
Realizing that Jesus Christ died for our sins, the believer must hate every sin in his life and fight against it. Jesus exhorted believers to "pour out my blood... for many for the remission of sins" (Matthew 26:28).
It is difficult to cope with our own weaknesses and addictions on our own, but the Lord is ready to help us in this. The life of a Christian is a constant process of spiritual growth and purification of character. The Bible calls this process sanctification (1 Thessalonians 4: 3-6).
One man was being chased by enemies. His father offered to exchange clothes with him to save him. At night, the enemy captured and killed the father. But his son's life was saved. The same thing Jesus did. He dressed himself in the "rags" of our sinfulness and died for us.
Reading the Bible description of this beautiful country and the city, you might exclaim, as once cried the Apostle Paul: "No eye has seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man what God has prepared for them that love Him" (1 Cor.2:9). What more can a person want? What will bring him great joy and establish peace in his heart?
God offers us much more than the richest man in the world can give. He promises to free us from poverty, disease, fear, and death. He assures us that His gifts will be ours if we accept Christ as our Savior and Redeemer by faith.
If there were a country with such a perfect life, wouldn't we strive to get there at any cost?
God requires only one thing from us: to give our hearts completely to Him. And if you understand this, isn't it time today to put yourself at the complete disposal of Jesus Christ?
