You see, not only did some believers falsely accept that the Bible was changed, but also many non-believers throughout the world had made claims against the Bible for centuries. The Qur’an was now revealed to confirm that the Bible, the previous Scriptures, as the authentic Word of Allah; the Qur’an was to be the guardian of these Scriptures (or better to say, Allah was the guardian). So the claim that the Bible was changed after the Qur’an was revealed becomes invalid since the Qur’an itself confirms the validity of the previous Scriptures and its unchanged message.
